INTRODUCTION TO SPOON CARVING
AT THE EPICENTER MAKERSPACE

WHEN:    March 17, 2018

TIME:      1 pm to 5 pm

WHERE: 107 Lancaster Street, Harmar Village in Marietta 

WHAT: No experience required, everything you need will be provided.  Make something for someone you love!  A Celtic tradition can be found on this St. Patrick's Day. Join volunteer Travis Warren in this one day class on making a carved spoon. Class participants will learn not only carving techniques for a spoon, but the history of spoon making and types of wood best used for carving.  This class highlights how to reuse wood that might otherwise be thrown away from another larger project.  Carving tools will be provided for class use only.  Anyone 16 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
