Partnership Agreements

Fiscal oversight is provided for Building Bridges to Careers (BB2C) by the Teen Career Awareness Advisory Group. This group is comprised of members from Pioneer Pipe, the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce, Marietta City Schools, Peoples Bank, the Washington County Career Center, the Southeastern Ohio Port Authority, and Family and Children First. Businesses wishing to support job shadowing specifically can enter into a Partnership Agreement and be invoiced for their donation. Funds provided by Partnership Agreements support the position of the Building Bridges to Careers Coordinator.

Fund Raising Events

BB2C held a fundraising event on August 6, 2014. This was the first fundraising event for the community group and it raised just over $1500. These funds have been used to supplement grant funds provided for the focus projects.  During the summer of 2016, Building Bridges to Careers was the recipient of the proceeds from Broughton's Ice Cream Social, which raised over $14,000 to support the projects that impact the youth in our county. The Marietta Brewing Company created Community Pints in order to support local non-profits, which raised $465 during the month of July for BB2C.

Individual Donations

Individual donations can be made to the BB2C agency fund at the Marietta Community Foundation. Donations can be designated for specific BB2C projects or for BB2C general use.
