Community & Career Connected Learning (CCCL) is a learning system integrating community partnerships & career awareness into experiential, place-based learning. This collaborative approach is used by schools, businesses, & communities to bridge the gap between education & employment.

Real World Problem Scenario

Career exploration in the classroom helps students think about their future, their skills, and their potential career pathways. Bringing community, career, and curriculum together positively impacts educational experiences, student success, and workforce development.

Real World Problem Scenarios are developed by local businesses, facilitated by teachers, and solved by students.

Students learn how to program Ozo Bots, one of our STEM 2 Go Labs

2-Go Labs are portable kits offering experiential opportunities for students to engage in STEM, leadership, & entrepreneurship. The activities are designed to align with learning standards for 6th-8th graders but can be adjusted to accommodate all ages.

We offer professional development opportunities and resources for educators interested in implementing Community and Career Connected Learning in their classroom, school, and district. Graduate credit hours are offered through the University of Rio Grande

CCCL Professional Development

Rural Teacher Fellowships

Rural Teacher Fellowship (RTF) is an opportunity for early-career educators (Fellows) who are interested in bringing community & career connected learning (CCCL) to their schools. It pairs these Fellows with mentors; seasoned educators who have successfully implemented CCCL.
